Chain Link 4 1/2″ [4 1/2″ OD] Tension Band [14 Gauge] (Galvanized Steel)

The 4 1/2″ [4 1/2″ OD] standard tension band is used in Chain-Link Fence Frame Work to hold the tension bar against the terminal post, keeping fence fabric tight and properly tensioned across the fence run. Tension bands are installed between the brace bands on the post. The number needed per post depends on fence height: use one less tension band than the fence height in feet. A 4-foot fence takes 3 tension bands; a 6-foot fence takes 5. This 14-gauge hot-dip galvanized steel band fits 4 1/2″ nominal posts with a 4 1/2″ OD. The hot-dip galvanized coating resists corrosion in year-round outdoor conditions. Bolts are sold separately. Find matching galvanized carriage bolts and nuts to complete your order.
